Eastpak is renound for being one of the best 'built to last' backpack brands around.

In 2000 the Eastpak brand was acquired by VF Corporation the clothing and apparel giant, where it joined other brands such as Jansport, The North Faec and Wrangler in VF Corporation's vast range.

In June 2006 Eastpak released three special backpacks designed by rock stars Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy and Slash.
